82nd Annual Floresville Peanut Festival
October 6, 8–10, 2026 Floresville, Texas
The Floresville Peanut Festival returns for its 82nd year, bringing four days of tradition, entertainment, and small town Texas charm to historic downtown Floresville. Held every second full weekend in October, the festival features parades, royalty, games, vendors, free live entertainment, and family fun for all ages. As one of the largest outdoor festivals of its kind, the Floresville Peanut Festival proudly offers free parking and free admission to the grounds on the Wilson County Courthouse Square.
Festivities begin Tuesday afternoon with Goober Games, location to be determined, offering activities and games for younger festivalgoers. On Thursday evening, the community gathers for the Coronation of Queen Tunaep, where she is crowned in an elaborate ceremony alongside King Reboog and the Royal and Children’s Courts. Their stunning gowns, trains, and robes, designed locally and crafted by dedicated families and seamstresses, remain a beloved hallmark of the festival.
A bigger and better Carnival opens Thursday night and continues through Saturday, offering thrilling rides and classic midway games. Friday kicks off with the Kiddie Parade, where children showcase miniature floats and creative costumes. As evening arrives, the Courthouse Square comes alive with vendors, arts and crafts, festival food favorites, and free live entertainment on multiple stages.
Saturday is an all day celebration beginning with the Grand Parade at 10:00 a.m. The festival grounds fill with commercial vendors, arts and crafts, family activities, and continuous entertainment. The popular H.E.B. Kid Zone returns with free hands on activities, performances, and attractions for children. Festivalgoers can enjoy roasted peanuts, peanut brittle, and a wide variety of food and beverage options available throughout the day and night.
A major highlight of recent years, The Peanut Patch, returns as a high energy entertainment hub located at 4th and C Street. This lively venue features food vendors, dancing, and an exciting lineup of bands performing Friday and Saturday nights. Whether you are meeting friends, bringing the family, or closing out your festival weekend with a bang, The Peanut Patch is the place to be.
After one visit, the Floresville Peanut Festival is sure to become an annual tradition. Mark your calendars for this quintessential small town celebration with big time fun, always held the second full weekend in October. Come Here, Go Nuts!
