Movies in the Park-Mesquite

Bring your family to enjoy our summer movie premier series!

2026 Series:

  • April 24, June 12, July 10 and September 12
  • Time: 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.
  • Locations vary

All events open at 7 p.m. and the movie begins at dusk. Food will be available for purchase for each event. All are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets.

April 24: Touch A Truck

Film: CARS

Location: Paschall Park, 1001 New Market Rd.

Multiple City vehicles and trucks will be brought to the park for kids to climb and explore

First 50 guests can enjoy a free slice of Marco's pizza. Marco's Pizza will have large pepperoni or cheese pizza available for purchase for $10

June 12: Dive in Movie

Film: FINDING NEMO

Location: City Lake Aquatic Center, 200 Parkview St.

Come take a swim and watch the movie Finding Nemo. Prior to the movie, will be games and a rubber duck race to see what color duck can shoot out the slide the farthest.

Admission

  • Capacity is limited to the first 500 guests!
  • Children 2 and under are free
  • Resident Fee: $2 per attendee
  • Non-Resident Fee: $4 per attendee

July 10: Luau at the Lake

Film: LILO & STITCH

Location: City Lake Aquatic Center, 200 Parkview St.

Get in the Hawaiian spirit by arriving early to Luau at the Lake to get a free lei necklace while supplies last. Before the movie begins, enjoy games such as limbo!

  • Children 2 and under are free
  • Resident Fee: $2 per attendee 
  • Non-Resident Fee: $4 per attendee

September 12: Movies in the Park

Film: SING 2

Location: Rorie-Galloway Day Camp, 3100 Lawson Rd.

Enjoy outdoor games and an "in the woods" experience watching the film
