The Longhorns left it late against #5 Tennessee in the Elite 8, securing a 67-59 victory thanks to some key defensive stops. South Carolina faced its biggest test of the tournament last round. The reigning champions were pushed to the brink by #2 Duke in a hard-fought 54-50 victory, but Dawn Staley’s team advanced to its fifth consecutive Final Four, aiming for a third national title in four years.
