Oak Cliff Nature Preserve New Year Trash & Trek
*The event has already taken place on this date: Sat, 01/04/2025
Oak Cliff Nature Preserve (OCNP) is a 121-acre preserve in the heart of the Oak Cliff neighborhood and well-loved by the people of Dallas, especially the hiking and mountain biking community.
Join us for TLC’s first volunteer workday of 2025 as we kick off the new year by giving back to nature! We'll be picking up trash, cutting brush, and enjoying a hike together.
Please arrive by 8:45am to get registered, wear closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle. We'll have work gloves and all the tools you'll need, but feel free to bring your own. Children over 12 are welcome, if accompanied by an adult.
In addition to individuals and families, we encourage you to bring a group from your church or local community organization and help us restore this urban treasure visited by thousands of hikers and bikers year round!
Please help us keep this calendar up to date! If this activity is sold out, canceled, or otherwise needs alteration, email mindy@kidsoutandabout.com so we can update it immediately. If you have a question about the activity itself, please contact the organization administrator listed below.
Please RSVP so we'll know how many people to expect and can update you with any changes due to inclement weather.
*Times, dates, and prices of any activity posted to our calendars are subject to change. Please be sure to click through directly to the organization’s website to verify.
